Overview:
Document and commitment fee collection is a critical yet weak step in credit cycle for any BFSI. Delay in submission of verification documents lead to opportunity loss for the credit institution. With the advent of online/e-verification and payment submission infrastructure, BFSI firms can fasten up the credit cycle by automating the nudge process for the application. Challenge, however, remains with personalisation of message and reaching out to these users across right channels.
With this cross-channel workflow, we intent to showcase how you can automate the whole cycle of document and payment collection.
After the user is eligible to buy a product and has verified his/her contact details, it’s important we push the user to submit the Application form, Supporting documents and Pay the Verification Fee to carry on with the process. This workflow shows how you can reach out to your customer over Email and Text to remind him/her to submit these necessary documents.

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. The Journey is triggered when the user verifies his/her contact details.

  2. This triggers an email explaining how to fill up the application form

  3. Next, wait upto 2 Days for the event ‘Submitted application form’.

  4. If the user fails to complete application form till the next 2 days, trigger an SMS reminder on filling up the application form.

  5. But, if the user completes within the next 2 days, the user receives followup email on the necessary supporting documents that has to be submitted.

  6. We now wait for 3 Days for the event ‘Submitted Supporting Documents’.

  7. On submission, we send a follow up mail with the Payment Gateway Link for paying the Verification Fee.

  8. On Time-out, we send a reminder SMS to the user to submit the necessary Supporting docs.
