Step by step introduction to the journey

 

  1. The journey is triggered when user enters the ‘active’ segment. ‘Active’ entails users who engagement with the site has surpassed a threshold. For simplicity we are not discussing the exact attributes of this segment.

  2. Check if the user is reachable on app or not.

  3. If the user isn’t reachable on email then we check his reachability on app.

  4. Whether email or app, we nudge the user to opt for premium content.

  5. We wait for the user to make the purchase for until three days.

  6. If the purchase hasn’t happened until then, then we send him another message via both channels with an incentive.
