Problem Statement
A majority of our customers have been leveraging WhatsApp as a part of multi-channel engagement campaigns on the WebEngage dashboard. Have you been using the channel to its maximum potential? WhatsApp can be used to send out promotional messages if your messages are hyper-personalized and contextual.
But WhatsApp message templates need approval from WhatsApp. If they find it promotional, they might reject the template straight away! So what should you do now?

How to create and send promotional messages on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp allows you to send messages with a relatively longer character limit (4096 characters). However, it is still highly recommended to keep your messages short and crisp to convert users faster.
The idea is to frame your messages in a way where you can start with a transactional update and close your message with a promotion.
