View and download the ‘List of Users’ for both Static and Refreshing Lists

We’ve introduced a “List of Users” view for both Static and Refreshing Lists, similar to Live Segments. You can now directly view users in each list along with their attributes. Key features include selecting custom attributes to display, sorting rows for better organization, and a search function to quickly find specific users. This update simplifies list analysis and makes managing user data more efficient.

UTM Parameters Auto-Enabled for Campaign Links

We’ve launched auto-enabled UTM parameters for campaign links across multiple channels like Email, Web Push, and WhatsApp. Configure 2–8 UTM parameters in Configuration > UTM, with options for static or dynamic values. Once set, UTMs apply automatically to new campaigns but require manual activation for existing ones. Users can customize settings at the campaign level for flexibility. Click here to know more.

Improved Personalization Token Experience

We’ve enhanced the personalization token experience by simplifying the process of adding fallback values and capitalizing words directly in the personalization modal, eliminating the need for complex Nunjucks syntax.
This update streamlines workflows, making advanced personalization easier and more accessible.

Enhancements to Geofencing and Location-Based Tracking

WebEngage SDK 4.17.1 is now available, updated to support play-services-location version 21.3.0 for enhanced geofencing and location tracking. We recommend upgrading to the latest play-services-location version. Compatibility guidelines:

  • For play-services-location 21.0.1 or later, use SDK 4.17.1 or above.
  • For play-services-location 21.0.0 or earlier, use SDK 4.17.0 or below.
  • Keep your SDK and play-services-location version aligned for optimal performance.

Introducing Fallback Recommendation

We’re thrilled to introduce Fallback Recommendations! This feature lets you define up to three fallback options for recommendations, offering flexibility and control. Each fallback can be of a different type or use a different event, ensuring seamless alternatives when primary recommendations don’t apply. For instance, if the primary recommendation is “Personalized” based on “Product Purchase,” the fallback can be “Static” or another “Personalized” option based on events like “Added to Cart.”

AMP Support for Self-Serve ESP

We’ve added AMP email support for Self-Serve ESP. Please refer to the updated self-serve.
AMP emails are now supported for SparkPost, SendGrid, AWS SES, Netcore, Self-Serve, and Private ESPs.

Enhancements to User Listing Page

The User Listing Page has been enhanced for usability and improve the overall user experience, making it easier to sort and filter data.

  • Sorting: Quickly sort users in ascending or descending order. By default, the user list will be sorted by the last date seen.
  • Enhanced Search: Featuring search text highlighting and similar text matching, allowing you to locate the exact user data with ease.
  • Improved Column Selection: The column selection view is now more user-friendly, with the addition of Device Data for better insights at a glance.

Email Template Engine: New Template Library

We’ve introduced a new ‘Template Library’ that simplifies selecting email templates. This library consolidates all pre-built templates (Drag n Drop, AMP HTML, Custom HTML) into a single place with a filter-based selection process. It improves the template search experience, making it easier to find and use the right template for your campaigns.

In-app NPS Rating Template

The NPS (Net Promoter Score) Rating is now available as a ready-to-use template for In-App Campaigns! Easily customize the pre-built HTML template to fit your campaign needs. Plus, every NPS submission triggers a Custom Event, allowing for deeper insights.

RCS Self-Serve

We’ve made it easier for service providers to onboard as RSPs on the WebEngage dashboard with the release of Self-Serve and Private documentation. This follows our RCS channel launch with Sinch RSP.

Test In-App Campaigns Before Launching

You can now send test In-app notifications before before launching your campaigns. Previously limited to UI reviews, this update allows you to experience how the notification will appear to your end users.

WhatsApp Media File Size Update

We’ve updated the media upload size limits for images, videos, and documents in the WhatsApp CRUD on the Message page, bringing them in line with Meta’s latest guidelines.

Day-wise Reports Revamp

Our Day-wise Data Breakdown reports now align with the Summarized Reports (Week-wise, Month-wise, and 30-day Rolling Window) introduced earlier, which include updated columns.

WhatsApp Automated Template Approval (Infobip)

Create and submit WhatsApp message templates for approval directly from the WebEngage dashboard—no need to visit the WSP dashboard anymore! Choose from two options:
Add Template: Upload an already whitelisted template from the WSP dashboard
Create Template: Create and submit templates for approval directly within WebEngage.
Plus, track the approval status in real-time— directly on our dashboard.

Funnel Analytics: Completion Time & Split By Options

This update lets users select “Completion Time” and “Split By” options during funnel creation. This provides deeper insights into how long it takes for users to complete funnel stages. It also allows performance breakdowns by categories like device, location, or custom user segments.

Rename Funnel Steps

Previously, funnel steps were automatically named after the events. With this update, users can label each step to align with specific goals or metrics, allowing for clearer analysis and understanding of funnel performance.

Funnel Analytics: UI Improvements

This update enhances user interaction with funnel analytics by introducing a more streamlined experience. Key actions like deleting, duplicating, and renaming funnel steps, as well as filter options, are now conveniently grouped under the three-dot action button.

Introducing A New Channel Of Engagement – Hello, RCS (Rich Communication Services)!

RCS transforms your communications with rich, interactive features. Unlike traditional SMS, RCS lets you send multimedia messages, include buttons for quick actions, and personalize interactions. Boost user engagement with dynamic content like images, carousels, and forms directly in their messaging apps.

Custom Recommendation API

This upgrade to our Recommendation feature gives you complete control over what your users see. Craft highly personalized product suggestions based on specific customer segments or behaviors, making your suggestions more relevant and engaging.

Carousel Template For WhatsApp

Transform how you showcase products with our new Carousel template. Display up to 10 customizable cards in a smooth horizontal scroll carousel. Choose between images or videos to captivate your audience and make it easy for low-intent customers to explore your offerings.
