We are back again with our latest product updates to help you with your business goals! Let’s have a look at what we have achieved together in the past month.

Support for Huawei Push Service and Xiaomi Push Service

Increase your overall push impression rate on Android devices by leveraging Huawei Push Service and Xiaomi Push Service. These services are similar to the existing Firebase Cloud Messaging service, but they are optimized to improve push impressions on their respective manufacturers.

This is a beta release and we’re enabling it for selected customers on request. Please reach out to product@webengage.com if you want to try this out — we’ll send you the relevant instructions to get these integrated into your app.

Mobile SDK updates

• Android SDK updated to v3.18.8
  Support for Huawei Push Service, and handling integration of thousands of mobile apps in a single project
• iOS SDK updated to v5.2.8
  Support for handling integration of thousands of mobile apps in a single project along with some miscellaneous improvements
• React Native SDK updated to v1.2.10
  Changes in internal dependencies and added other support for iOS Podfile
• WebEngage<>Segment.com Android integration updated to v2.0.7
  Removed deprecated Gradle and added support for Android 12 changes
