We have made a bunch of additions to WebEngage from February-March. Here’s a consolidated list below:
1. AMP Email Support for Sparkpost
We now support Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) emails for the Sparkpost Email Service Provider (ESP). So if you are using Sparkpost as your ESP, you can use this feature to start sending personalized AMP emails to your users. This means that you can now send webpages, surveys, carousel images, and more personalized graphics through emails. The toggle on the dashboard will help you turn on the AMP functionality (if needed) while sending an email campaign.
2. Segment CRUD UI Updates
We have now updated the segment creation pages with a cleaner UI that is more in sync with the rest of our dashboard.
3. Mobile SDK Updates
i) iOS – We have added support for real-time tracking of data in SceneDelegate (applicable on iOS 13+).
ii) Flutter – We have improved the handling of push notification callbacks when the app is in a killed state, and we have added support for universal links for iOS.
iii) React Native – We have added support for integration with CodePush.
That’s all we have got now, and a lot more planned for our upcoming releases! As we proceed towards working on the new features and launches for you, enjoy these new features to their fullest.
If you wish to pass on any feedback about these releases or are unsure about implementing any of these features, get in touch, and we’ll help you out!
