4. Discontinuation of Xiaomi Push Service

Effective April 2, 2024, Xiaomi has ceased the Mi Push service outside Mainland China:

  • The use of Mi Push service for Push notifications will no longer be available. Xiaomi devices will now receive push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
  • While Mi Push service previously offered better delivery rates, we anticipate a slight decrease in push notification delivery rates for clients with Xiaomi devices.
  • To address this, we recommend removing the Mi push SDK from your apps. Rest assured, even if the SDK is not removed, it will not cause app crashes.
