AMP Support for Self-Serve ESP

We’ve added AMP email support for Self-Serve ESP. Please refer to the updated self-serve.
AMP emails are now supported for SparkPost, SendGrid, AWS SES, Netcore, Self-Serve, and Private ESPs.

Enhancements to User Listing Page

The User Listing Page has been enhanced for usability and improve the overall user experience, making it easier to sort and filter data.

  • Sorting: Quickly sort users in ascending or descending order. By default, the user list will be sorted by the last date seen.
  • Enhanced Search: Featuring search text highlighting and similar text matching, allowing you to locate the exact user data with ease.
  • Improved Column Selection: The column selection view is now more user-friendly, with the addition of Device Data for better insights at a glance.

Day-wise Reports Revamp

Our Day-wise Data Breakdown reports now align with the Summarized Reports (Week-wise, Month-wise, and 30-day Rolling Window) introduced earlier, which include updated columns.

Funnel Analytics: Completion Time & Split By Options

This update lets users select “Completion Time” and “Split By” options during funnel creation. This provides deeper insights into how long it takes for users to complete funnel stages. It also allows performance breakdowns by categories like device, location, or custom user segments.

Rename Funnel Steps

Previously, funnel steps were automatically named after the events. With this update, users can label each step to align with specific goals or metrics, allowing for clearer analysis and understanding of funnel performance.

Funnel Analytics: UI Improvements

This update enhances user interaction with funnel analytics by introducing a more streamlined experience. Key actions like deleting, duplicating, and renaming funnel steps, as well as filter options, are now conveniently grouped under the three-dot action button.

Custom Recommendation API

Isolate a control group from your campaign to precisely compare those who received the campaign and those who didn’t. Analyze unique conversions, revenue contributions, and overall order numbers across these groups. You can accurately gauge the uplift in critical metrics, empowering more informed marketing decisions.

Batched Relays

Batched Relays enhance traditional relays by allowing businesses to group multiple business events and trigger notifications at set intervals. This upgrade optimizes communication by reducing notification frequency and ensuring more organized, timely updates. It streamlines workflows and helps businesses stay informed without overwhelming their teams with individual alerts.

Engagement Score

This advanced tool helps you dive deeper into each customer’s interactions with your brand. Assign weightage from 1 to 5 to critical events basis their importance. Our system will then calculate a precise user engagement score on a scale of 1 to 10. Scores close to 10 indicate higher engagement, while scores closer to 1 indicate lower engagement.

Paths: Add/Remove Rows

Explore niche user journeys by adjusting the number of rows in your Path analysis. By default, you’ll see 5 events, but you can add up to 20 rows to uncover uncommon Paths that may otherwise go unnoticed.

Paths: Advanced Filters on Segment/List

Conduct Path analysis on specific segments or lists you’ve created. Focus on particular user groups to uncover how they interact with your platform, allowing for a more targeted understanding of user behavior.

Paths: Split by Attributes

Scheduled Emails

Quick Switch

The Quick Switch feature lets users set any dashboard as their default landing page, streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity. List Duplication & Customization

Easily duplicate and customize lists to streamline list management. Rename User/Event Attributes

Custom Alerts: Updates

Custom Alerts allow you to set specific thresholds for key metrics that matter most to your business. For example, if you’re monitoring website traffic, sales conversions, or customer engagement, you can define a threshold that signals a significant change. Once the threshold is set, the system continuously tracks the metric in real-time. If there’s any deviation—whether it’s an unexpected drop or spike—you’ll receive an immediate notification. This helps you stay proactive, enabling swift actions to address potential issues or capitalize on positive trends. Custom Alerts are a powerful tool for staying informed and agile in managing your operations.

Stop One Time Campaigns

Mobile Push: New Top Card Metrics

We have added 2 new key metrics to help you quickly assess your Mobile Push campaigns:

  • CTOR (Clicks to Impression Ratio): Offers instant insights into campaign effectiveness.
  • Click-through Conversions & Revenue:
  • Now available on the Top Cards for a more visible performance overview.

Custom Date Range: Channel Overview & Engagement Overview pages

Experience greater flexibility and insight into your campaign performance:
Choose Your Date Range: You can now select any 30-day period within the past year, moving beyond the previous options of yesterday, last 7 days, and last 30 days.
Real-Time Stats: View current day’s stats refreshed hourly, plus CSV reports will now include the latest data for the current day.

Shopify Plugin: Auto Sync Catalog and Past Order/Customer Data

When a new store installs the plugin, we automatically sync all order, customer, and product catalog data, eliminating the need for manual entry.
Historical Data Sync: This feature is available for new stores that haven’t connected to a WebEngage account yet, preventing data duplication.
Hourly Catalog Updates: Your product catalog will refresh every hour by default, ensuring your information is always up to date.
Order Tracking: Past orders will be captured as an “Order created” event, with historical data reflecting on the dashboard within 24 hours.

Custom Alert: Enhanced Event Tracking and Real-time Alerts

Set up alerts for specific events you want to track and monitor important metrics closely. Receive instant notifications whenever there’s a deviation from your set thresholds, ensuring you never miss a critical change. Multiple users can subscribe to the same alert, and you can even mute alerts to reduce noise.

Mobile Push Impressions: Added to Campaign Overview and Listings Page

Mobile Push impressions metrics are now shown on the top cards on the Campaign Overview and Campaign Listing page. This enhancement allows for quick tracking and analysis of Mobile Push campaigns.

SDK Authentication for Enhanced Security

We’re excited to introduce SDK authentication, a vital step in verifying the identity of the SDK communicating with our platform. This process ensures that only authorized apps can access the WebEngage API, protecting user data and sensitive information from unauthorized access.

Multi-Event Analytics

You can now analyze multiple events at the same time to identify correlations, identify patterns, and gain deeper insights into user behavior across these events, all in one place. Our latest update includes an enhanced Event Analytics UI featuring user-friendly graphs for a more intuitive experience.

Trigger Journeys with Refreshing Lists and Predictive Segments

Exciting news! You can now have users enter or exit a journey based on their membership in a refreshing list or predictive segment. This feature is available for all customers in the US and IN data center.

Predictive Segments

Create segments based on user likelihood to perform certain actions in the future. Using WebEngage’s AI-driven analysis, users are grouped into 3 categories—Most Likely, Moderately Likely, and Least Likely—based on their predicted behavior. It’s a powerful way to stay ahead and tailor your campaigns effectively!

Increased List Selection Support

Perform advanced segmentation using a combination of live segments, static lists, refreshing lists, and predictive segments while sending your campaigns. Access this feature in the ‘Audience selection’ part of campaign creation.

Refresh Your Lists: Periodically or On-demand

You can now refresh your criteria-based lists either on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, or manually whenever needed. In addition, new columns (Type, Source, Last Refresh) have been added for better visibility.

Support for Excluding Products from Recommendations

Create more personalized recommendations by excluding specific items from being suggested to users. With the new “Exclude Event” option in the recommendation UI, you can select an event like ‘Purchased’ to exclude items based on past user behavior.

Introducing Universal & Custom Control Group

We’ve taken a big step forward in campaign measurement with the launch of Universal and Custom Control Groups. Unlike the traditional method, where a portion of users is randomly excluded when sending a campaign, you can now create control groups across your entire user base.

Catalog and Recommendation: Instant Enablement

Enabling Catalog and Recommendations just got easier! You can now activate these features instantly through the Super Admin panel, without needing manual backend approval.

Export Campaign Stats via FTP/SFTP

You can now export your campaign stats report directly to an FTP/SFTP server, making it easier to manage data. This comes in addition to our existing options of exporting to email or public HTTP endpoints.
